Logan’s Wipe Out

A free family event and a great way to cool down if you can’t make it to the beach or a pool, Logan’s is ‘bringing the beach to Raleigh’ with water games, cool treats, a Bouncy House, and festive music. Logan’s is a one stop garden shop located in Seaboard Station near downtown Raleigh. A celebration and one of their biggest sales of the year, it’s a great way to get some wonderful deals on garden supplies and keep the kids entertained. Kids of all ages are invited to wear Hawaiian themed outfits and beach party gear. The event happens this Saturday, July 12th, from 11am – 4pm.

 

SharknadoRifftrax Sharknado MST3K Event

What would summer be without cheesy blockbuster films and bad sci fi movies? Tonight, Thursday July 10th, and next Tuesday, July 15th, you’ll have the chance to experience one of the best – Sharknado – complete with commentary from the stars of Mystery Science Theater 3000. Playing at select theaters the event starts at 8:00pm tonight and 7:30pm on the 15th and tickets can be bought online. This is sure to be an entertaining way to see the absurdly bad cult classic on the big screen!

 

Cam Vill Sidewalk SaleCameron Village Sidewalk Sale

A much-anticipated annual event, the Cameron Village Sidewalk Sale this weekend is the way to find the best deals of the year from a variety of boutiques within the shopping center. Happening Friday July 11th and Saturday July 12th from 10am – 6pm and Sunday July 13th from 1-6pm, stores throughout the center are offering incredible deals and clearance sales throughout the event. Hungry after finding some good bargains? Be sure to visit any of the great dining options within the area too!

    Love that there was a Sharknado event! This is the type of movie that defines the “it’s so bad, you just have to love it!” saying. What’s more, they were willing to give Tara Reid a role in the movie. Did you hear that they are making a second movie? I’m not sure if it’s already been released, but figured I share.
